Hey guys its the new year...

I tink i shall do the honours by being the first to write something here.

In 2009,we were filled with emotions such as joy, laughter and tears.

We started off our year with the preparations for the SYF..All our hard work were paid off with us earning our first silver medal in the history of EvgWinds.The sec threes(2009) also got a chance to organise a camp in march and a barbeque outing for u guys.They were also the ones doing our graduation concert.and of course to close the year we experienced one of our conductors,our big father,our big boss,ending his single life by getting married...Very beautiful.This was wat happens last year.

THis year,i hope that the band will do more stuffs.I also hope that this year will be as exciting as last year.To all those whom i may have hurt emotionally,pls forgive me.I was only doing my job.(like hari raya man as for forgiveness).I hope to see u guys next week for our sec one orientation....Enjoy ur weekends.

Hey guys the new year is just approaching.Like everyone i have a few resolutions that i hope u guys will fulfill in the coming year.
Firstly,i hope there will be no more latecomers for every band practice especially for the practices during the school holidaes.
Secondly,i hope that all of the seniors will know the names of all the secondary one or should i say sec two members and vice versa.
Thirdly,starting frm next yr i hope to see full at least a 80% attentance for every band practice.
Fourth,starting frm next yr,all band members are to converse in english.No mother tongue is allowed.Those caught shall earn a punishment for their section.
Fifth,i hope that all of u guys will start to pay attention during band practice rather than talking all the way.I notice this during the last practice where some of the juniors were simply talking n not listening to Mr Lim.
Sixth,pls remember to do ur holiday homework.
Lastly,I hope none of u guys will be involved in any disciplinary cases with school regardless of ur attire,latecoming or other stuffs.
With that,i wish u a happy new year.

Those going this saturday,pls meet outside the school gates by 8am sharp.Transport is provided.However, u nid 2 go home urself.Pls wear something appropriate.No shorts,no tube.Girls try 2 wear dresses.Guys no singlets.Hope 2 see u there...

Hello Band,

See th countdown up there? We've another 3days left. Its not too much.
But neither is it very little. We can do alot of things if we make use of th time given. :D
As Mr Lim has said, " This is our only concert in year 2009."
So let us work harder and make this concert memorable for not only th audience,but yourself too.
Please LOOOOK at Mr Lim when he is conducting.
Cos you'll never know when he's going to do something and if we dont do it,we all look bad.
Percussion : Please look through your score and enquire your seniors if you have doubts.
Get your rhythms right for th scores too. :D
Winds : Please practice your running notes and dont try to fake through.
Brass : Please try to get your intonation right.
thats all,please do your best for th practices! :D

The concert is just next week.Pls practice your instrument and look through ur score at home.
Make sure u guys do ur homework, go to youtube n look for e titanic video clip n salsa dance.
Lastly,pls be punctual for monday's practice.Remember 2 bring all e repertoire pieces.for the main band pls bring ur lunch money.And pls bring ur sweater if u feel cold.
